Travel and Accommodation

Delegates are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements directly with service providers.

As accommodation demand in Lagos is typically high, participants are strongly advised to secure their hotel reservations as early as possible.

A list of recommended hotels and negotiated accommodation rates (where available) will be provided to registered delegates and will remain subject to availability.

International participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Nigeria and for meeting all accommodation and related expenses.

Registration Deadline

Please note that registration may close earlier if venue capacity is reached.

Due to limited seating availability, prospective delegates are encouraged to complete their registration as early as possible.

Submission of a registration form without full payment does not automatically guarantee attendance.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a formal accreditation process through the official event registration portal.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Registrations cancelled after 1st September 2026 will not be eligible for re-admission or transfer to future editions of the event.

For cancellations received before 1st September 2026, participants may re-register subject to availability and approval by the Organisers.

Delegate substitutions may be made at any time by providing written notice to the Organisers.

Accommodation Information

Participants are encouraged to book accommodation as early as possible to secure preferred rates and locations.

Information regarding recommended hotels and accommodation options will be provided to registered delegates.

Accommodation bookings remain the sole responsibility of delegates and are subject to hotel availability and prevailing rates.

Conference Programme

The Organisers reserve the right to modify event schedules, session formats, programme content, speakers, moderators, venues, and other event elements where necessary.

Any such changes will be communicated through official event channels.

Data Protection and Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be processed and stored in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Information provided by delegates will be used solely for event administration, accreditation, communication, and operational purposes.

Personal data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without prior consent.

Force Majeure and Indemnity

The Organisers shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, modification, interruption, or failure to perform obligations resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Public health emergencies
• Government restrictions
• Power outages
• Civil unrest
• Terrorism or security threats
• Industrial actions or strikes
• Acts of war
• Extreme weather conditions
• Technical or infrastructure failures

In such circumstances, participants agree to release the Organisers from liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from event postponement, cancellation, interruption, or modification.

Important Notice

The Organisers reserve the right to amend the programme, venue arrangements, event schedule, speakers, or event format where necessary.

In the unlikely event that the African Professional Summit, Expo & Awards 2026 is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled, the Organisers shall not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, visa, or related costs incurred by delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, or attendees.

The Organisers shall not be liable for losses arising from circumstances including, but not limited to:

• War or threats of war
• Civil disturbances or riots
• Terrorism or security incidents
• Fire, flood, drought, or natural disasters
• Technical, mechanical, or electrical failures
• Government regulations or restrictions
• Failure of third-party service providers
• Transportation disruptions
• Hotel or venue service interruptions
• Public health emergencies

Participation in the event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
